The next meeting of the Postgraduate Environmental Law Reading group will be at 2pm on the 24th of September. Carrie Bradshaw will be presenting her work on Corporate Conscience and Environmental Management Systems and Larissa Boratti will give a short introduction to her research.
We had the first meeting of the London Environmental Law Reading group yesterday at King’s College London. Things were kicked off to a great start by Pravin Jeyaraj a third year PhD student from Westminster University School of Law. He presented an article which gave a Hegleian analysis to the efficacy of incentives when encouraging recycling. A lively debate followed to which we all concluded that waste is a fascinating problem and that supermarkets should be required to publish the amount of waste they generate.
