London Environmental Law Reading Group

We are a group of PhD researchers based in London, sharing and developing our work in the area of Environmental Law and Governance.

Our Inaugural Meeting

We had the first meeting of the London Environmental Law Reading group yesterday at King’s College London. Things were kicked off to a great start by Pravin Jeyaraj a third year PhD student from Westminster University School of Law. He presented an article which gave a Hegleian analysis to the efficacy of incentives when encouraging recycling. A lively debate followed to which we all concluded that waste is a fascinating problem and that supermarkets should be required to publish the amount of waste they generate.
